AUT - GV leave the park and move to the city
Geovector completes its initial product development and leaves the Technology Park to begin marketing its product.

The American based company Geovector was directed towards the Technology Park by the New Zealand government when it expressed an interest in bringing some of its work to this country.

For the past 2 years, Geovector has been based at the Technology Park while developing its positioning and pointing technology for mobile phone users. The Technology Park has contributed well to Geovector's work by providing a flexible and collaborative Research and Development environment. The new technology enables the uses location to be pinpointed and also determines which way they are facing. This technology has potential in areas of tourism, navigation, mobile commerce, entertainment, and mobile gaming.

Geovector has now moved to Auckland's Viaduct Basin to begin marketing it’s new product.
